Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is coming up. The normal hustle and bustle already started. Everyone’s clamoring to find the best gift. What the Mom in your life really needs isn’t more things (unless she’s asked for them of course, then please buy them for her)! She’ll appreciate the thought of these so much more.

  1. Sleep. Every special needs mom, medical mom, and even your average mom needs more sleep than she’s getting. Let her have an uninterrupted nap.
  2. Bath/Foot rub/Massage. I can guarantee you she has a kink somewhere in a muscle she’s been trying to get out and just can’t seem to shake. In fact, it’s probably more than one. It might be all of them. Just keep rubbing!
  3. Chore Coupons. I’ve always found these to be cute. You really can use them for anything. Just cut out some paper and write what you’re willing to do. Dishes, laundry, get up at night with the kids, or any other chore or duty you’d be willing to take over for a day or a week. This way she can get help when she really needs it.
  4. Book/eBook (and time to read it). I LOVE books. I especially love the ones that teach me something. Becoming a Medical Mom is a great one to learn more about medical terminology and much, much more. Check it out on Amazon.com in eBook. It’s also available in paperback but because it’s print-on-demand it may come later than you might expect. Read the estimated delivery details closely.

If I think of more neat ideas I’ll post them in the comments and I encourage you to share as well! I would love to know what you think would be the perfect Mother’s Day gift.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mom’s out there! I know you work hard, many of you both inside and outside of the home. I support you and what you’re doing is amazing. Keep up the great work.
